New statuses, smart filters, value search and bulk actions now help security teams triage exposed credentials and clear the backlog in far fewer clicks. Available to all A42 Recon+Exposure platforms users at no extra cost.
A list of exposed credentials is only useful if it leads to action. We redesigned how data leaks are managed in A42 Recon+Exposure to make it easier to fix it. The platform now highlights what requires attention, groups leaks with shared credentials and enables teams to resolve them collectively rather than one by one.
How it works
New statuses for seamless team collaboration
Users can now see exactly what was exposed and where it came from, move it through a clear status, and close related leaks in a single action. First, click View to inspect a record and update its status accordingly as you work through the incident:
- New: The leak was just discovered and hasn't been reviewed yet.
- Triaged: A specialist reviewed the record and confirmed action is required (e.g., password reset, key revocation).
- Resolved: Credentials have been changed or disabled, the risk is eliminated.
- Ignored: The record is irrelevant (e.g., a test account or false positive).
These statuses keep the entire team aligned: security analysts investigate, managers assign tasks, and stakeholders stay informed on overall perimeter security.
See the whole backlog at a glance
Counters at the top of the page show how many leaks sit in each status, so anyone can tell in a moment how much is still open. A search field and filters for status, domain and date narrow the list to what a person is working on right now. Export CSV hands the results to another team or attaches them to an incident record, so the platform fits the process a company already runs.
Fix one credential, resolve many
The same credentials often appear across multiple breaches. Click the magnifier icon next to any credential to find all matching leaks. Changing the password once resolves every associated finding, turning a cluster of alerts into a single fix.
Bulk actions for faster cleanup
Each record has a checkbox and separate controls select everything on the current page or everything a filter returns across all pages at once. Select individual records, the entire page, or all results across filtered pages using checkboxes. Change the status for the whole selection in a single click—turning hours of repetitive cleanup into a few simple steps.
